It was a bright, sunny, early - Sunday morning. Being quite relaxed and work-free, I was enjoying my early
morning tea with muffins along with my favorite newspaper. While reading an article in the
newspaper about friendship, my flashback memories were revived. I remembered
going to my friend’s place a year ago and having spent a great evening with my friend and her mom.
The memories became more vivid and my levels of missing my friend and her mom
also increased.
Now my thoughts
from being relaxed changed to that of “missing” those
moments to a rising level. Several thoughts came to my mind, “I want to meet my friend
and my friend’s mom right, now!!” Then another thought came to me, “I don’t have
my friend’s mom number and my friend is out of town for work, so I cannot
disturb her.” Now, what shall I do? I explored and thought and missed my friend’s
mom and those memorable moments spent with her. I told myself, “I wish I
would have her contact number, at least I could have messaged her and written a
nice miss you thought or a poem”. “I wish I could have called her up this
moment and wished her good morning”. “I don’t even have her address stored in
my address book; otherwise, I would have met her”.
One thought led
to another and I was mindfully enjoying the breakfast and at the same time had
the feeling and thoughts of missing someone so special. Again when I was
pondering, another thought came to my mind that made me smiled. The thought was
that, "it’s okay if I cannot meet her now but, I can make something special for
her". The same later on when I meet her, I could surprise her with the same.
Smiles,
enthusiasm and my creative thoughtful spirit led me towards creating a nice
piece of artwork for a dear friend and apparently she being an art lover like me, made me
feel happier.
From the thought, “I want to meet my friend and my friend’s mom
right, now!!” to the magic thought “I
will create a surprise art work for her”. Now, that’s what I call the power of Magic Thought.
My Magic Thought: “Create Surprises on Missing Someone Special".
